SLEEP THIEVES PLAYING CULTURE COLLIDE FESTIVAL IN LA AND SAN FRANCISCO, OCTOBER 15, 17, 18

Sleep Thieves will be playing their first ever U.S. dates at the Culture Collide festival in San Francisco on October 15 and Los Angeles on October 17th and 18th.  The band will be opening for Minty Fresh alum Nina Persson of The Cardigans in Los Angeles on October 17th.

Based in Dublin, The Irish Times calls the ethereal, electronic trio "disco-noir" while "The Line Of Best Fit" describes Sleep Thieves' sound as “a darkly hypnotic and throbbing sample of new-age electro…  the [title] track is a throwback to 80s style production, kicking in with a simple but intoxicatingly sinister bassline whilst Sorcha Brennan’s vocals veer in between lustful and hauntingly malicious.”

Sleep Thieves is comprised of Sorcha Brennan (vocals, synths), Wayne Fahy (vocals, synths, bass, programming), and Keith Byrne (synths, guitar, bass, programming). The group met through Twitter where they bonded over film soundtracks and vintage synths.

"The Huffington Post" named Sleep Thieves one of the top acts to see at Electric Picnic where they shared the stage with the likes of BeckOutkastFoals and St. Vincent. The band has been receiving radio play in the UK on XFM Radio and BBC Radio, and tracks from their debut album have ranked in the Top 30 on the Hype Machine chart.
