Minty Fresh will release We Were Evergreen’s debut album “Towards” on December 2nd with three bonus tracks. Produced by Charlie Andrew (Alt-J, Darwin Deez, Matt Corby), “Towards” showcases the band’s unique history: the French band members Michael Liot, Fabienne Débarre and William Serfass moved to London a few years ago, infusing their music with influences from both countries—English folk meets French pop and disco. The band has described their sound as indie poptronica with equatorial rhythm loops and vocal harmonies. 

Having built up a following at SXSW, CMJ, and Secret Garden Party and support slots for Little Dragon and London Grammar, the band is currently touring the UK on their first headline tour.

We Were Evergreen explains the title of the album: "We have evolved in the process of making this first album, which is why it is called ‘Towards.’ It is about going somewhere, anywhere, even if the direction doesn't make sense. It is about movement versus stillness, body versus mind, personal mythology versus collective memory.”
